Heather Bryant and MIMB II


Work by Lecturer Heather Bryant is included in MIMB II: International Traveling Exhibition of Object-Books, currently on view at the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries atrium and the Elise N. Hofheimer Art Library until February 17. The show features 87 unique and subtly created object books in materials ranging from handmade and rice paper, plastic to tea bags, wood blocks, and mailing envelops, and the techniques from letterpress, silkscreen, digital prints to collage, die-cut, and painting. The artists included represent seven different countries and cultures: United States, Canada, China, Japan, India, Pakistan, and Spain. New York, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, among others states, will host this exhibition, which started simultaneously in July 2011 at Emily Davis Gallery, OH and Savannah College of Art and Design, GA. International venues include the National Taiwan University of Art and the Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
