Volume reviewed

Graphic Design professor Kenneth FitzGerald‘s book Volume: Writings on Graphic Design, Music, Art, and Culture was reviewed on the influential design blog Design Observer by Adrian Shaughnessy (author of How to Be a Graphic Designer Without Losing Your Soul and Graphic Design: A Users Manual). Shaughnessey considers the book “an important addition to the library of graphic design writing.” In addition, writer, critic, lecturer and curator Rick Poynor selected Volume for the site’s “Books Recommended, ” calling it, “A real treat, this, a whole book of essays by one of the most distinctive and, at times, idiosyncratic writers to bring his sights to bear on visual communication.”
