Richard Nickel in Beyond the Brickyard at Archie Bray

Art Education professor Richard Nickel was recently juried into Beyond the Brickyard at the Archie Bray Art Center in Helena Montana. The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts is a public, nonprofit, educational institution founded in 1951 by brickmaker Archie Bray, who intended it to be “a place to make available for all who are seriously and sincerely interested in any of the branches of the ceramic arts. The Bray presents works by 25 ceramic artists in its third annual juried exhibition. Works were selected by guest juror Paul Mathieu, the foundation’s 2010 Voulkos Fellow.
