The Old Dominion University Department of Art faculty exhibition opened Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries. The show features recent work by full-time and adjunct faculty members, many of whom have achieved national recognition for their creative and scholarly work. Fields of expertise represented by the art department include art and architectural history, art education, and such studio areas as drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, graphic design, sculpture, fibers, clay and metalsmithing. The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of two recently deceased department members: Robert McCullough, associate professor of graphic design, and Carole Hubbard, visiting associate professor of art education.
Faculty members exhibiting pieces in the new show include Anne Bousquet, Natalie Bray, Heather Bryant, James Chalkley, Diane de Beixedon, Ken Daley, Patricia Edwards, Peter Eudenbach, Anna Velkoff Freeman, Ralph Irby, Patricia Isenhour, Elliott Jones, Jiwon Lee, Elizabeth Leeor, Clay McGlamory, Richard Nickel, Pam Ponce, Greta Pratt, John Roth, Virginia Van Horn, and Nikki Webb.
